Frosty Night

This week has been the perfect teaching opportunity. Something can't be within your control, like abiotic factors like temperature and weather. on nov 27 due to  a frost, we had to protect our plants. we used a white cloth to cover all the plots in our field, except for the elevated plot. we chose to ignore that plot because our main cash crop were the carrots, and they could sustain the frost. in the picture we see Trevor getting cinder blocks to hold the cloth protection in place.
