Unfortunately, we were late to direct seed our greens, and although they are germinating nicely, we will have to wait a few weeks beyond the end of the semester for them to really develop. Luckily, the weather is perfect for them to grow in. We have some sunflowers emerging on one end of the bed. A lesson we learned as a team through this incubator farm project experience is that timing is crucial, and it can be challenging to coordinate, plan, and time your planting optimally.
