transplant

 This week we made use of our field. We removed the mulch, tilled using a rotary cultivator and transplanted bok choy, red onions, cauliflower, broccoli and cabbage. The transplants were provided to us.  The transplants do not need to have been grown organically to be utilized in our organic farm, but organic practices will of course be used to grow and maintain them. The bok choy were planted in 3 rows, with a spacing of 12 inches. We planted 8 red onions 6 inches apart. The broccoli, cauliflower, and cabbage were all planted a foot apart.
