Another exciting development for us this week was our use of the elevated pot. Our team decided to plant carrots and some flowers. The carrots of choice were Caracas, and Golden Nuggets. We wanted to use the elevated pot for carrots to give them space to maximize their growth. The carrot seeds had a clay coating, this is done in a process called pelleting. The clay coating makes it easier to sow. We watered them after planting, this will help softening the coating and promote germination.
