Beginning of our journey. Our weeds have been enthusiastically plucked, and our SSF farmer Emily is thinking ~organic~ by using minimal tillage to prepare the soil. Low or no till, are practices used in organic farming to minimize soil disturbance and aid with water infiltration. This is one way to distinguish from conventional farming, which tend to use intensive tillage.
