amBUSHing the soil
The soil has been prepared. Bush beans were the first crop we planted. Bush beans should be planted 1-2 inches into the soil, 18-30 inches apart. Bush beans are legumes, which means they are capable of nitrogen fixation. This is an excellent crop to grow in an organic setting. Constant input of fertilizer to meet the nitrogen requirement is not necessary. Wait to see them grow!
